Is a dove just a glorified white pigeon?

If that's correct, then, why don't we see people throwing pigeons up in the air for world peace or something like that?

Suprisingly, another term for a pigeon is a "rock dove". Both pigeons and doves are genetic cousins, both types of the genus Columba with the terms being used interchangeably. There are other genus of birds called doves that are separate from the pigeons, but the types we commonly know in the US are found in that same genus.

Doves and pigeons are related. So I suppose that basically yes they are.

Maybe they don't toss pigeons because they poop more than doves and they are also known to be very filthy birds.

Yes... A dove is a pigeon. I think the reason why doves are so "special" is that their white color is associated with purity, serenity, and peace. But yes, they are pigeons.

hi it relies upon on he pigeons more suitable pigeon r aggressive yet I easily have a hoop neck in my coupe and its high quality with very tremendous pigeons possibly b.c of the dimensions and it would not hardship absolutely everyone. regardless of the indisputable fact that it u settle on to placed pigeon in with the dove make efficient its a strong length cage and watch them and word what they do. in the adventure that they %. at one yet another that is purely them being Territorial. yet watch them and a large cage so that they could get lengthy.
