They would be a third world country. Remember, this was a war for independence, not to talk all of America. Yes, the south would be a third world country if they had won, so no, I wouldn't be on a farm in poor living conditions.

That is tough. Social and political expectations of parenting would have demanded conformity but I feel that the true goodness within us all would have inspired an underground of nonconformists to the popular ideal. Personally, even if I had been raised within that type of social norm I feel that my compassion for others would have eventually overridden the accepted oppression of humanity.
I know, that was only a part of the conflict but it is a very important part to me.

If they had won back then, I think they would have lost by now... Slavery is wrong and not suported anywhere.
The south definately had it's own thing going on and there are issues outside of slavery but... I can't imagine what it would be like to go to southern north america, would you need your passport?

No, because I'd live in the North. All historians agree that the United States would have survived as a nation, so that's where I'd live.
