I say that we give the right people rewards. We should give tax breaks to people with good intentions. A morally rewarding system for people who do good for the community and its members. I propose a time share plan where businesses should give out services and products to people who put in time in their community. Like if they volunteer then they get hours of services added to their total to receive services and goods from businesses in the community. Maybe even money. I would certainly take part in rewarding people who help. I know a bunch of business owners who would do the same. You want more then you need to do more. Not necessarily take two jobs but be better people to each other.

There are a lot of good people out there who are poor. Then again there are a lot of bad people out there who are also poor. The same goes for rich people. If welfare reform says we need to give poor people more money then give it to the poor people who are good. Why are we going to give our tax paying money to people who ruin our communities. This goes for drug dealers, vandalism, loud music, gang relations, theft, riots, fighting, domestic violence, etc... Hey this goes for everybody, no exceptions to the rule. It is the best system.

I hate to say it but we need to be more severe on crime. We need to look at backgrounds of people and what they have done instead of what we could do for them.

Cut taxes.
Let welfare be only for small set period of time unless person is sick.
Id lower minimum wage (it just lets the old full time jobs be filled by non benefit part timers)

And the one everyone will love.
I'd require a draft. Id also add a new branch of the military the Work Corps. For all the pacifists and others who don't want to learn to fight. They can learn to build and dig and preform the various projects the gov't and military requires.
