i dont remember when was the last time my bf gave me a compliment. I know I look good and the other guys are always give me compliments, but not the guy i love. Why is that?

How is your self esteem right now? He does not compliment you because he is insecure and does not want you to leave him.
So he works on making you feel less than what you are. I know because I just went through this with my boyfriend. He has whittled my self esteem down to nothing. I am now trying to rebuild it. Talk to him about his insecurities.

Perhaps the next time you're with him in the car, walking to somewhere, eating together. As he may bring up a topic relating to feeling good. Bring that part up telling him that it makes you feel sexy when guys around give you so many compliments that you'd wanna go out with any of them instead.
He MIGHT give you one, but if he doesn't then move the hell on. Ask yourself, why am I with him again?

bokbok2 is crazy, her advice will never work. If he has never done these things, don't expect him to start now, he just is not that into compliments. If he did do it in the beginning and stopped.. then you have a problem. He is not all that into you. There is one more thing that may be the problem, he may think you look too good, better than he does. I get this all the time... he is always complaining I look younger, I look better then him and that my photograph always come out better than his. (Believe me I am not all that good looking) Your bf may not be saying these things, but he may be busy thinking them.

I read in Cosmo once that guys only do the "sweet things" like compliments, flowers, candy.... stuff like that during the "courting period". But he is absolutely sure that you are his and he is you... then guys will stop doing all those things because he feels comfortable enough and safe enough in your relationship... that he doesnt think he has to do those things. You might be able to go to cosmopolitan.com and find the article if they keep archives of the magazine on there.... i'll look and see if I can find that mag and I'll scan it for you if you want. It was a really interesting article.

I would compliment my gf all the time but I gave up in the end because she would never ever say thank you, or that's nice. She would give me a blank stare and say 'no I'm not' or similar.
There's only so many times you can headbutt a wall.

He is acting the way he thinks couples are supposed to act. I'll bet his dad doesn't compliment his mom too often ... or some other role model has shown him a similar thing. If you tell him anything, you tell him it isn't normal for him to not tell you good things everyday ... maybe more than that. It is causing you to suffer and suffocate. You really don't want to live that way.

because he's male. Girls will compliment each other with ease but guys are stupid like that. If you love him too much to dump him, confront him gently about this so he doesn't get mad. He might be a little embarrassed about it because he may not even realize he isn't complimenting you. Okay... not all guys are evil... I take it back- happy?

Well give him a reason to compliment you. Do something out of the ordinary and wake him uppppp. Make him take notice. You must be cute. You are the first avatar that I have seen like mine.

I do not know. Maybe try to compliment him and see if he returns the favor. You really need to find someone that you know for sure appreciates you and does the little things like that to make you feel special.

Guys dont understand why women need to hear how beautiful they look everyday. Men are very different then women. You seem very confident about the way you look so why are you worried.
I am sure he loves you, but make sure you dont tell him how other guys are talking to you like that. It would be innappropriate. If you want him to tell you that you look pretty tell him. Dont ask his questions beating around the bush, tell him you need to hear it because you want to know that he is attracted to you.
