As far as I know nowhere in the country does anyone have a master designation in the building trades, Your best bet would be to get in touch with your local trade unions and progress through their apprenticeship program in which you ca advance to the level of a journey man, and from there take as many advancement classes as you can, and always try to pay attention and learn as much as you can.
Just remember there is no substitute to experience and that takes time.
Also for information, your best towns for construction union jobs/apprenticeships are St. Louis, Chicago, and New York.
In the carpentry world the men who were considered Master Carpenters, are the people who became General Contractors. If this is your eventual goal, I would also suggest taking college courses in business and construction management

In my opinion, you have to give your best in this profession. Try to build some unique buildings, which will be appreciated by all.Dedicatedly do your work and also enjoy the work.
