I would be very happy to communicate with you... I currently live in the midwestern state of Indiana, having grown up in the Chicagoland area and suburbs and a few other states.

I'm much older than you, having two adult children who each have children... but not until each had graduated from college, my son with 2 degrees. But I've worked with and taught younger people all my life and enjoy doing so... you people help me to age much more slower!

Please respond to the "e-mail" I sent you through Yahoo!Answers and if interested, send me your e-mail or ask me to send you mine.

Ed

p.s. Please try to make your avatar smile... she looks so sad.

another p.s.... There, you look SO much more happy! **smiling**

I have a penpal in Australia. She met my parents on a cruise about 25 years ago. We have been corresponding for about 15. I send her handmade cards. She sometimes sends me new Australia stamps. She always writes from a trip whether it be a postcard or a letter. It's fun. I love getting mail.

Yes, I have people that I am constantly in touch with. They are all over the US, and in France and Italy. Since being so far away from your friends is hard, I find that if I write them alot, it's not as bad. To me it doesn't matter if it is by letter or by email, it all works.
