You know, Kenny Johnson, the former Suns star player whose fearless slasher mentality and amazing agility made him and Charles Barkey a famous duo in the 90's. If Wade's game is similar to anybody, past or present, its gotta be AJ. Gimmie your feedback.

Because of the hype thats how the tickets are sold. "Come see young phenom that plays like Mike". Michael Jordans name still sells in the NBA and when compared to him even the common trailer trash has heard of him. Therefore the merchandise is sold and such. You are right his game is somewhat like KJ. Some aspects of Wade's game in the finals was reminisance of MJ though. He scored,rebounded, and willed his team to the title. It was nice to see the credit go to him and not to Shaq.

The NBA has desperately been trying to find the next MJ to bring back some popularity. I dont think thats a fair comparison though because MJ never had a dominent center like Shaq. There will never be another MJ. He is a great player though.

The NBA wants to hype the game as much as possible, so they hype the media and compare him to MJ who, in turn, makes the public rave about Wade being the new MJ.
