I don't know the writer, but a group called The Syndicate of Sound, did the song in the mid 60's.

Cant' remember ,but it used to be on the Nuggets collection from Rhino. Check Amazon.com, I actually used to have it on vinyl as an import. "Hey little girl, come on over here. Wont' you let me know your name?" Great song.

i remember the song, cant think of who did it. check out i hit wonders because i think that is the only song that band did that got airplay. ill probably remember the name tomorrow afternoon.
