You need to go to ebay and see what a comparable one to your's is selling for.....computers have better resale value in different parts of the country.

Before you sell it, install Service Pack 2. That being said if you are including the monitor you might get $350 to $500 for it. The reason is that better systems can be had for that price, if you watch the ads and discounts closely, even the integrated Geforce 6100 beats a FX5200. Well, that's my two cents. You'll get less if you don't include the monitor but I would keep the monitor if I were you, then you could set up a dual monitor situation.

That's a good computer. If it's used, I'd say 300 dollars, if new, probably 400.

I would look for a similar computer (not down to the last detail!) on eBay or a similar auction site, and check prices on those. That will give you a nice window for what you should charge.

There are two huge problems that kill the price of this PC:

1. 2.4 GHz processor.

2. Old Nvidia graphics (card? It says Gateway right next to it, maybe it's integrated)

250-300 tops.

Don't sell it you will probably only get $300 at the very most. If you come up with a good marketing idea you could use it to make money - ebay etc. What about selling math tutor classes on ebay and maybe make some green, its an idea!
