I want know either both of them also involve in marketing.

Actually, if you're good at it, it should do both. Good marketing creates needs and makes people want what they think they need.

Marketing creates a need for more resources to fulfill the unnecessary wants of consumers. Should be banned outside of 200 miles from where a product is manufactured. If people need something, they go looking for it. If it has to be 'marketed', it isn't needed.

Neither. It identifies and fulfills needs and wants.
