Now we use DVR's,DVD's, Tivo, etc. Have you even looked at your kid's special events you just had to video-tape?I have 100's
of movies, programs, events, etc. I don't want to throw them away
they're precious.(yet boring) My camcorder is useless also.

We have a friend in the videography business so we just have all of our VHS transferred to DVDs. We keep the VHS anyway though because a lot of the kids cartoons my daughter watches are on VHS and we really do not mind that much anyway. Any old VHS we do not want anymore we just sell in a garage sale or trade at a local retail store.

They now make 'devices' so you can burn your VHS movies onto DVDs and we have a device that hooks up to our camcorder and computer, and makes DVDs out of everything we video tape!!

i still have my regular VCR and play my VHS tapes. I have a DVD player also, but why get rid of something that works perfectly fine just because they keep coming up with newer things.
