Are there any natural ways to help nail polish from chipping?
I like having painted nails. But its such a pain in the neck to have to fix them everyday. I hate how trashy it starts to look.
Any suggestions??

try regularly putting a strong clear topcoat over your nails. This makes a big difference.

also a quality basecoat can help the colour to stick to it as well.

there's a special type of nail polish, it's called "as hard as nails".
u can put 2 coatings plus a clear nailpolish.
to get ur nails to look good after u remove the polish, sometimes use nail care products, they sell it in drugstores. also there's this company yevesroche, after their nailpolish ur nails look healthy and shiny.
also sometimes give like a 3 day break, use hand cream for nails.

Don't use a basecoat, but use a topcoat over the colour that includes natural silk strands or nylon strands designed to strengthen nails. They tend to keep polish from chipping. Also the more coats of polish you put on, the softer and more pliable the polish is, making it dent and chip.

put on a base coat, one or two coats of polish then a decent top coat. use gloves when washng dishes, use a pencil or something else when pressing buttons, use something else when opening soda can tops. don't abuse the nails and the polish will last

put a clear coat on top off ur nail polish but sometimes the clear coat peels off that really bugs me =/

go to a nail salon and purchase a bottle of their base coat and a bottle of top coat. use of these two products should make the polish last about one week.

A clear top coat should do the trick. Don't go too cheap on this b/c some of them will just peel off.

Paint several coats, and then cover the polish with a clear topcoat sealer that you can buy anywhere...it lasts a REALLY long time! : )
