My co worker smells, or so I think its her. What should I do? It's getting so bad I'm thinking of wearing a gas mask to work or putting stick-ups all around my cubicle.

It's not that she doesn't take a shower. She's actually farting. I can hear it sometimes.

Use febreeze aroung your cubicle that should help, but if it don't work try talking to her. Some people don't wear the things that make them smell good. She just might need some tips on how to clean herself up.

I don't think you can win in this situation. If you start spraying stuff around then others will say that they are allergic to the scent and then you'll be the bad guy. You really need to talk to someone in your human resources department about the situation. You really shouldn't resort to "self help" at work.

Its easy, type up a sticky note so she can't tell your handwriting. When she is not looking, and NO ONE else is, put it on her desk.
It should say: Please enjoy this, so that we can enjoy being around you... Give a small basket with soap, deodorant, and FDS feminine deodorant spray.

If you don't want to spend the money, just type her a note and it will say: We all work a little close for comfort, would you please mind taking a regular daily shower? Thanks.. ANON.

Do it. DO IT! :D Buy her a 10 pack of Car Air Fresheners (To hang on herself), along with a two-pack of deodorant. Perhaps some cheap (But nice smelling) Perfume she can daily bathe in.

Good luck. ;)

Politely let her know. Like when she comes up, react to a stench and ask her if she smells that.
Or it could actually be perfume... I was at a party one evening when a nice looking lady was introduced to me by a female friend. Right away it was like... who pood in their pants type of smell. I moved away as soon as possible and talked to my female friend who had introduced us.. she said that it was her perfume.. and that several people had told her it smelled like crap.. but I guess the woman was weird and liked it.

But perhaps you could simply leave a note where she could find it that says something like this: "Please wash yo nasty body, you smell" It will be appreciated by all.

It sounds like she has a medical Condition. This can include irritable bowel syndrome, carbohydrate malabsorption (i.e. lactose intolerance), bacterial overgrowth, any type of GI infection, or irritation of anus or esophagus.

she knows its going on. and She is embarced as hell. Cut her some cheese...er I mean slack.

spray febreeze around her desk as a ritual every day
she will get "deoderized"
and you wont smell her stench anymore
because febreeze "deoderizes" things
get the flowery scented febreeze
it will be like her purfume

start making jokes with her about how much the office always smells funny...or seriously start asking if there is a dead animal in the vents......there is no reason to put up with that...
