Your best bet is probably going to be some hydrocortisone cream. It will numb things up a little and help stop the itching. You can get it over the counter at a drug store or someplace like Target.

Also make sure to keep the area clean and as dry as you can. Don't scrub hard or anything, just use cool or lukewarm water and mild soap.
