I am using this formula on newborn puppies , not human babies. I know they sell puppy formula but it is very expensive . The mother was eating her live babies so we took the away. I know back in the day , they used evaporated milk , when breast milk wasn't available. My question was just how to mix it .

Karo syrup will give the baby diarrhea...don't do that!! Best bet is to buy formula. If you are in the US, then sign up for WIC...they will provide you with a months worth of formula EVERY month...FREE. If you're not in the US, then see about buying formula. Don't give the baby Karo syrup unless they are constipated. That is bad!!

PLEASE give us more information so we know how to help you. Like where you are located. You can't risk your babies health. I will be checking back in on the question a lot. I'm very worried now!!

The only thing you mix Baby Formula with is WATER. Only Water!!! The directions on the formula container are pretty clear.

Evaporated milk is used for cooking, and kittens! Caro syrup (just enough to coat the bottom of a baby bottle) was used as a home remedy for babies with constipation. Write again and let us know what it is you are trying to do please.

How old is the baby. i don't know where you come from but I thought you weren't supposed to give children refined sugar. Can't you just buy baby formula.

Yes, it's very simple--you *don't*. Homemade formula is certain to be unhealthy for a baby--of *any* species. It is missing essential nutrients. It can and *does* cause brain damage and death. It is not even *almost* safe. Do not do it.
