I'm a liberal and support our troops however I will never support their leader. I would love nothing more than to see our troops succeed but we should not be involved in Iraq to begin with. Iraq was a minor problem in the world at the time. While we have been consumed in Iraq North Korea has gotten Nukes and Iran has advanced its nuclear programs. Before Iraq hundreds of thousands of women and children were being killed in a genocide in the Duafur. We are still to busy in Iraq to help them. So if you wonder why I don't support the war in Iraq it is because there were far more important places to send our troops were they could have saved lives not cost them. You should also ask the republic party how it likes dishonoring Vietnam vets and I am not only talking about Kerry. That is still lower than any ad campaign which shows how many lives our mission in Iraq has cost us.
GOD Bless America, our troops, and their families

Liberals don't want America to lose the war at all. They want Conservatives to stand up and take responsibility for fabricating a war. Republicans are no better than terrorists. The reason America is there is for oil. Bush, Republicans, and the right wing agenda are responsible for this atrocity. If Liberals had been listened to in the first place, instead of being called unpatriotic, perhaps America would never have gotten into this mess in the first place.
I love the fact that republicans will sink to this. They lie to everyone and sink to any low to conceal the truth. Then, when they get caught, its the Liberals who are to blame.

OK, I'll take your bait.
First off, no one wants to see our boys die. PERIOD. Someone hating Bush and his never-ending war (ever read 1984???) has nothing to do with their feelings toward the poor souls trapped in the middle of the whole thing.
Look, I have friends that are back from and in Iraq. All that I want is our boys OUT of this POINTLESS war. But...too late for that.
Oh, and your claim that liberal "undermining of the mission" (remind me, what is the mission again????) is "getting our soldiers killed", is so ludicrous that its almost unfathomable. The ones who are getting our soldiers killed are the greedy ******* in the administration that "leads" our country. NOT anyone who objects to this war on moral grounds.

Displaying flag draped coffins is the "truth". The truth is hard. I just visited my friend who is still recovering after having his face blown off in Iraq. He goes out into the world everyday and people have to face war. Of course, because our society only likes things that look pretty, he is now a freak. And not to mention because of the attitudes among soldiers in our military he is afraid to seek mental and emotional help for having his face blown off. Why is our government not doing more to help it's brave soldiers by letting them know there is no harm in getting help after you've just been to hell and back and have the scars to prove it? So, who has really lost here? I would say it's my friend, his wife, his kids and everyone else he comes in contact with for the rest of his life. Since he fears ridicule from the military he lives with his nightmares and hardens just a little more everyday. His family is held distant and he is never really, really happy.

Well, those from both sides who sent our troops into harms way on a false premise will sizzle with the devil.
Our guys need to get out with their lives.
It's not about being successful or not.
There is absolutely no way to win this war.
We, America, proved that no matter how strong the occupying force, the people of the homeland will win the war.
Remember Vietnam, Revolutionary War, etc...

Wait a minute here, your getting ahead of yourself. As in all orchestrated panics, you should panic first and ask questions later.Staying side my fine feathered friend. Bwak the sky is falling , bwak the sky is falling. If you have a pet bird, dispose of it in an orderly manner, remember its us or the birds. Buy the Alphred Hitchcock movie The Birds and watch it over and over again until the full impact of the situation sends you into an appropriatly panicked state.
Remember Birds are just dinasaurs with feathers. Would you trust a teridactyl or T rex? Then why trust a bird.

Yes.....you are right!!! I hate them so much I want to bring them home. I don't want them to be added to the lucky list of 2600 soldiers dead. I want them to stop creating way more terrorist in the world then there were before we entered the region. You are soooo smart.....how's ya figure us out? Funny thing is...I'm not even a liberal....far from....I'm just a person who has a logical brain and some common sense.

i don't think they want the soldiers to fail. it's the opposite. Democrats think the war is a lost cause and that we should bring the soldiers home, because they don't want them to die. this is just something the media twists, i think. many democrats support the troops, but not the war. that in no way means that they want to troops to fail.
i support the troops and President Bush!! God bless the troops!

They would rather be correct in thinking that the war will fail than have America be successful. This is an extremely dangerous way of thinking.
