Nice to meet you too Timmy the Turd
I am well aware of that Roger, was asking in relation to other competitions that are important to fans...ie the Asia cup for Australia etc.

I'm an Italian fan, so the next big tournament for me is Euro 2008. The qualifying phase starts this fall, but I don't think I'll be able to watch the matches because I live in the US.
I am also looking forward to "Copa America" in 2007 because many of my friends here are Peruvian. Not too sure I'm going to support Peru, though ;-) They never get too far, plus my favorite South American team is Argentina.
How come Australia plays the Asia cup? There's no cup for Oceania? Does New Zealand play the Asia cup too? Just curious...

Hey Andygurl, didn't you hear? The World Cup is over. Italy won. Next question?
Later:
Sorry, Andy. I guess I was being smart. I actually am a rugby supporter, so I'm quite glad the World Cup is over!
Much later: Being a Kiwi, rugby (union) is my true love! I trust the Wallabies will kick Springbok butt this weekend!

Well... I guess now I'm just waiting for Copa America (2007), but since I live in the US I'm going to say that the "next big match" will probably be FC Barcelona vs. the LA Galaxy...
actually, it's more like the "let's see how bad the LA Galaxy are, and see Alexi Lalas fail" match... but oh well, I'm just going to watch it because I want to see all the great Baraca players play together.

Well I support Italia however, I live in Canada-haven't seen a pro soccer team from this country since 1986. So no big matches here.

Iran, but maybe Syria first. Then after those two are gone, North Korea.
