I'm talking Jim Thome. It was bad enough he was in Cleveland, now Chicago. So sorry for Twins/Tigers, although I'm not sure how he was in Detroit, all I know is he beats up on the Twins, every time.

as thome ages, he'll be better suited to dh more often, so i'm afraid thome might finish his career in the AL. i know what you mean about certain players beating up on certain teams (casey blake vs. the twins comes to mind), but thome is and always has been a huge power threat when healthy. if the twins and tigers are getting nervous, the braves and mets are much relieved now that he's no longer a phillie.

He didnt have a choice because he was traded but he is a much better fit for the AL so he can just dh. His glove at first could be a liability. He is perfectly suited for his role with the White Sox and will probably finish his career there.

He deserved the opportunity to play in his hometown, in a league that he is better in. I really liked having him in Philly, he's a class act and doesn't need to be wasting his time playing for the worst organization in sports. The Philadelphia Pathetics.
