I recently went to the taping of the ESPN-- "Quite Frankly"show hosted by Stephen A. Smith...where he states that Allen Iverson will get traded but not until the Sixers get a good deal for him. Do you think the Sixers will trade Allen?

The Celtics have a backcourt that would make any team jealous with Telfair, West, Green, Allen, and Pierce playing as talented guards/forwards. However their big men lack explosiveness and experience needed to instill dominance in the paint. Kendrick Perkins and Al Jefferson are projects while Theo Ratliff has been known to be soft as he has been posterized several times. Brian Scalabrine is not the most talented player but Danny Ainge believes that he has a basketball IQ that makes him an intellectual player. Ainge claims that players such Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson have the same types of IQ. Therefore the Celtics have enough guards, especially PG's with the acquisitions of Telfair and Allan Ray. West will not be traded as he has delivered very well ever since his hand injury during his rookie season. He is a formidable shooter from the perimeter and he can get to the rim blithely. Iverson is a franchise player for the 76ers until the team is confident that Andre Iguodala can take on that role. However Iguodala is still blossoming and has to improve his handle and shooting. If the Celtics were to trade for anyone it would be for a big man. They would most likely trade Wally Sczerbiak and Dwyane Jones for someone like Dwight Howard or Boris Diaw. The Celts need power and versatility when it comes to their big man, and although Perkins and Jefferson can deliver in the future, they need sombody now to assist Pierce to a championship. By the way, there is nobody that is Iversons size that can accomplish what he has done. He can dunk, steal, shoot, and score from anywhere via a quick handle with ankle breaking moves. There is no way the 76ers could get an even trade for him; especially with Telfair or anyone else from the Celtics ( except for Pierce).

I really think that Iverson will be traded to the Celtics.

Trade out Iverson is 100% good for Sixers. Chris Webber can play his own style of basketball and no need to compromise with Iverson. Also, with reliable shooter Wally Z, 76ers may become a powerful team after Iverson leave.

In contrast, it is disaster for Celtics. Pierce is already a very best scorer and did well in last season. Iverson's big ego won't allow him under the shadow of Pierce. Also, their post and role in the team are similar. Just like Knick's Marburry and Francis. I don't think that Pierce and Iverson will both have sparkal for the teams.

To conclude, Iverson is the bomb for every team.

If the Sixers are going to trade Iverson than they are going to get some great people for him. Also if they trade Iverson they got no point guard. There is no really good point guard in Boston than why they got Rodon. So I don't really see Iverson going to the Celtics.

Although it might get intense, it will not be to the Celtics because they are division rivals. Heck, in the end I don't think Iverson will move at all. Trade talks with Iverson have come up the last, what? Three or four years now? Where does he remain? That's right, in Philly as he will remain atleast until the trading deadline of this next year.

They will definitely trade him if a good enough offer comes up. Like if the Clippers were to agree to give Maggette and Livingston for him the Sixers would accept that in a heartbeat. They might also be willing to take Gerald Green, Al Jefferson and Sebastian Telfair.

I don't really care where he is traded to, as long as he gets out of town. He can't leave fast enough.
