I have wide-hips and a small waist and I realize that low-rise jeans in my regular size simply will not fit. They won't even pass my hips. Occasionally, I may find one in a slightly bigger size that works but still has a little bit of skin exposing but sometimes they won't even go up fully all the way. Is there anyone else out there with the same problem or is it just me? Also does anyone else notice that finding pants with regular waist jeans is extremely difficult to find these days? Gap and Old Navy used to be my favorite places to find pants and now I go in these stores and rarely find at-waist boot cut jeans. A year and a half ago I found some in Gap and bought four pairs in different colors. Since then I only found one such pair last year and haven't found anymore since.

Yep, everything's always been like that for me. I don't have real wide hips, but I have a HUGE bubble butt! :) By the time that pants cover up my butt, there's no more fabric left to cover any of my back, so I'm constantly flashing my buttcrack all over the place!!! You should try going up a size or two and wearing belts with them so that they stay on your waist. Oh, and, yes, Old Navy's waists in their pants always seem to fit too snuggly on me, but then the pants will be too big everywhere else. It's like the opposite everywhere else, so I think it's just how they make their pants. Don't really shop at GAP, though, so I don't know about that. Anyways, you're not alone...I think it a clothing-company-conspiracy!! lol

Yep, know the feeling. I have actually tried plus size trendy stores like Torrid for my jeans. They start at size 10 or 12, so you won't feel fat going there. They have jeans that flatter curves and fit just right. They show off all the good stuff about being curvy. I noticed that about Old Navy too.Good luck.

Yep, it's a problem for those of us who are non-barbie. Torrid is cool, and I can find things at Lane Bryant sometimes too. Also, look for something called mid-rise rather than low-rise jeans. They are only an inch or two lower than at-waist jeans. This has become the best solution for me, and I can almost always find mid-rise boot-cut jeans.
