Americans are not stupid, its a fact that they have very little history that can be called their own, they're a young country and not expected to know better. Its true that the USA isn't a Colonial Power, Colonialism would mean having troops away from home and we know they don't like that, so they have the likes of the CIA to foment trouble in their sphere of interest, where they don't control the leaders. Elections are rigged , puppets run the country and what do you know we have a Colony without American troops, only 'Advisors'. Contrary to what's been said, the American people know this; and yet they still elected the Bush family, some say that election was also rigged.
With regards to America being 'The World's Policeman', well that's a laugh! They interfere anywhere there is oil and when they couldn't control Sadam even after supplying him with arms, they took the direct approach. That war was won, but it continues to this day with the terrorists it has created. I'll keep clear of the subject of the lost Colony of Vietnam and its innocent victims; and the CIA advisors who kicked it off. Who except the USA wants 'The World's Police', good people though they are. The previous writer seems to think that the USA came into the war to bale us Euro's out and gave his hard earned money to us. Goods that were provided to the UK by the US were not given for free but on a 'Lease-Lend' basis, we paid you and you prospered, even after the shock of Pearl Harbour.. Now history is repeating.. War is good for America and Bush knows it. "Fox News isn't a history channel I know, it's not even a news channel". To end on a lighter note. Where in the world is there more religious fanatics, crackpot religions and phony miracle workers, than the good old US of A.

This is pure entertainment! Television and video gaming systems are among the many babysitting devices parents use to manage their children daily rather than read them a book or help them learn anything. Also, if I had done the work to become a teacher, one of the MOST important jobs in the world, I would be p. o.'d and most likely not do my job to the best of my ability if the flippin' janitor was getting paid more than me. Ugh!
I was out the other night for a friends birthday party and was introduced to a man raving about his children. I looked at pictures of his son and daughter and they are beautiful kids. He was so proud of his son for being able to master every video game he has. That IS impressive. What happened to the annoying "My kid is an honor student at some white America yuppie school" bumper sticker parents? This society is why people are dumb. And all we want is more.

They are not stupid. Just uninformed.
U.S. schools rarely teach much non U.S. history. (& geography). The study city, state, and national history and a world history course. US. newspapers are parocheal. They rarely consider World affairs.
Compare Time magazine against the British weekly Economist. The difference is both surprising and a subject of concern. Fro a long time the U.S.A. was big enough to be a market in and of itself, and international politics did seem to matter much. This is no longer the case.

As an American let me clarify, we are not all stupid and we are well aware of the history of the Europeans - read on:
Americans are not stupid as you so accuse. America was formed as a nation of self-determined people. Most Europeans used to be that way, which is why you have the number of countries you do. Each arrogant bunch of people created their own country, then for hundreds of years fought against each other to prove who was best. Just read some European history.
Contrary to some European countries, Great Britain, France and Holland to name the 3 worst perpetrators, the USA does not, and has not harbored or perpetrated colonialist policies - i.e. subjugating people in other lands to the financial betterment of their own for the long term.
The USA is also not an expansionist nation - at least not sense that Hitler expanded Germany, Japan expanded into Mongolia and China, the French expanded into Indochina, Africa and South America; the British expanded into India, Africa, South America and elsewhere, the Dutch expanded into east Asia and South America, Russia expanding as far as it did.
Each of the aforementioned nations were expansionist in nature with the control and subjugation of the native populations an active part of their expansionist policies.
With the exception of the taking of the USA itself (and Hawaii for the sake of Dole Pineapple interests), the USA has never perpetrated a colonial or expansionist policy. We have found ourselves, against our will, generally, I might add, pushed to the forefront of being the world's policemen, when all of us would much rather sit home and flourish without all the BS and hassle created by Europeans and third world tinhorn dictators and religious fanatics.
The USA was dragged, against it's will, into two World Wars, started by European expansionist nations. We were caught in a 50 year Cold War with Russia and it's expansionist policies. At no time can the USA be accused of being the Aggressor in these events, yet today, we take all the crap that whining Europeans - who are generally too lazy and too cheap to defend themselves - want to dish out. The general consensus of most Americans is that the Europeans - particularly the French - can all go jump in a lake.
The USA and its taxpayers have rebuilt Europe twice now, and all we get is whining cries of how arrogant we are, yet the Europeans in all their arrogance feel that they have some kind of birthright to ride on the backs of the American taxpayers and military to keep their sorry countries viable amidst their collapsing socialist regimes.
So you see, Americans aren't arrogant, they're just tired of ignorant and arrogant Europeans who do not know the value and price of freedom. And who expect the USA to continually bail them out and save them from their faulty foreign relations problems.
And insofar as your second question is concerned - it is unfortunately a true statement. Israel, like most European countries, survives on the largesse (read that as Foreign Aid), of the USA. Personally, as a US taxpayer, I can say I'm tired of the world riding on my back, on my labor, on my good nature, and most assuredly I am tired of having my pocket picked by whining Euros, Afros and Arabs who would just as soon put us all back in the dark ages - mentally and religiously. We Americans say No Thanks to all of that. If you were wise, you would too.
Hope this answers your question. Or maybe it's too harsh a history lesson. But history it is, and truth as well.
Now toddle on back to whatever Euro pastime you were involved in and see if you can come up with more insulting, and self-embarassing questions. Ho-hum.
Next question please. This Stupid American is just warming up.

Oh, PLEASE, EVERYONE LOOK AT THIS SITE!
THIS is what he wants to replace FOX News!
You have to see this site to believe the crap they are putting out as news! It's amazing! Read it! Keep yourself informed, by all means! Then read the Koran at www.prophetofdoom.net and see what kind of enemy we really face. This guy's no Jew. I'm about as far from a Jew as you can get and even I can tell he's no Jew! Gods, what nonsense!
Erich Von Daniken, who wrote "Chariots of the Gods" (which was totally debunked), would be very proud of this site and it's mixture of facts, extreme supposition, a few lies to tie it all together, all to destroy Israel.
Sorry, if it was England against Israel, I would side with England. But it is terrorists who attacked Israel, according even to the governments of Lebanon and Palestine, so I side with Israel.
Kick their rears, Israelis!

Americans are not stupid! We have one of the highest standards of living in the world. We are probably getting a little less smart due to the number of uncultured persons invading our country.
I LOVE FOX NEWS

Nice website for chronically insecure bed-wetters.
You don't need to be so frightened, you could learn to respect yourself and others as individuals through experience of life rather than twisted hate websites but you have to have the guts to go out and live it. Force yourself.
