As you get older, people change, and good friends sometimes become people you can't stand. Even though it's hard, it sounds like you should move on, and find some better friends. I know this first hand, I had some good friends in high school that went all thug on me, and I wasn't into that. It hurt, but I moved on, and found better friends. I'm still very close to the newer friends that I have, and they have been great, I don't regret it for a minute. Move on, and find someone who wants to be your friend.
Good luck.

Stop wasting your time. You need to look in the mirror at yourself and try to figure out why you would spend so much time trying to make this person your friend? Are you that desperate??? She does not value you.....degrades you....lies to you.....and is a whore. Grow up and move on!

Tell her how you feel. Strait up. Life is too short to play head gamesand beat around the bush. Try bringing up good memories when you 2 would hang out.

people change as they grow because of the experiences in their lives... maybe your friend have some bad experience and she doesn't know how to tell you or maybe she have some friends that influence here that way...
yes, it is bad to lose a best friend..
try to talk to her, tell her you missed her company - listen and read her - it your old friend is no longer there, then it is time to move one.

It may be a friendship that you have outgrown - unfortunately it does happen. Is there something else going on that you don't know about or any other way of finding out. She may have a problem that she doesn't know how to handle. Drugs?

Nothing you can do. Tell her once she becomes a regular human being again, you will be willing to talk to her, but until then you want her to not have anything to do with you.
