A word like any other!

by definition, it represents the norm, or the majority of the population, as enginerd said, as distributed in a Bell curve - the two flat ends being the really subnormal and the really above normal.

So if you lived in a society where singing all day was normal, at least 60% would sing all day, 20% (or less) would always sing, even at night, and 20% (or less) would never sing.

There is leeway at the ends of the curve, depending on what the curve represents.

In other words, in IQ for example, the Bell curve represents "normality" in the middle and, tapering off at either end, the nearly flat final distribution represents extremely low IQ and extremely high IQ.

Normal is a small little redneck town that sits right next to another such town, Bloomington, in Illinois, in the United States of America. Word has it they make cheap cars there and spend the rest of their time swilling down cheap beer because it is the best they can afford in life.

*lol* :) Well, you asked, Mr. Word Salad Spammer Boy, now gimme mah Points! :p

Man, that was TOO easy....I should feel guilty, feel bad for "hjkhkjkhjhkhkjhkj....whatever the Blue Hell it is".....right?

Nah. *ROFL* :))
