How many championships would the Celtics have won?

If the 80's Celtics and Lakers had swapped coaches, how many more championships would the Celtics have won. Pat Riley coaching the Celtics and KC Jones coaching the Lakers.

I think the Celtics would have grabbed the one in '85. After the Memorial Day Massacre in game one, Coach Riley regrouped, made some adjustments, and stole game two in the Garden.

Then because of the new 2-3-2 format, they took a 3-2 lead back to Boston were they won it in 6 games. Were it not for Riley, I think the Celtics would have won that series.

Other than that, I think everything would have played out the same. Each team made adjustments every year, with an eye on the other. Those years to me were the best in the NBA ever.

I feel like that things would have been simular. Magic, Kareem, Worthy and team would still have the ability to win multiple championships, without one of the greatest coaches ever Pat Riley.
The Celtics would benifit from Riley's intesity, but at the end of the day it would still be to close to call with the Celtic team's that had Bird, McKale, Parish, and company.
I sure miss the NBA in the 80's.

i really dont think coaches make much of a difference....but one thing is sure..had len bias not thrown his life away on that cocaine binge the celtics would have more than 16 banners flying in the rafters
