Actually the word is cumbersome and it means burdensome, trouble or uncomfortable. If something is cumbersome, then it is a pain in your butt, a bother to do, or otherwise inconvenient. Example: Having to commute two hours each direction to and from work is cumbersome.

Cumbersome (make sure you include the "e" on the end of the word) means heavy and unwieldy, like an albatross. The poet, Samuel Taylor Coleridge used the albatross as a metaphor; someone with a burden or obstacle is said to have 'an albatross around their neck'. This is a very cumbersome predicament to have!
