That's a good thing J-LO is thick it's a hood term for a girl that got a body she got some booty some hips and the whole nine it's a compliment

okay, here i go. there is slim, thin, athletic, and then there is thick.
now, thick can mean a girl who is not only not thin and not fat, but that she has curves in the right places.
the other instance is when my friends have refered to girls as thick when they had a big bust/butt and were not overweight. basically a girl who is fit... but has a little meat on her bones OR a girl who has nice big curves in the places that makes guys head turn. hope this helps

Not an un-attractive fat that flaps all over the place. You can be thick and have it be muscle.
When I think of thick, I think of a woman who carries her weight well and has curves.

You could be thick as in profile (not necessarily fat) sometimes called big boned. Berral chested on men is that the rib cage is rounded and not flatend. Women can be thick as deep pelvis.

It means you're on the bigger side size wise but it's appealing...like a thick juicy steak...sounds like he was West Indian and they often love them some "thick" women!
