Emotional Fear, Being Wrong

2006-07-13 14:50:10 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

People have a natural tendency to fear for 2 major reasons-

1- Because they don't understand it

2- Because they can't control the outcome

If I find myself physically fearing something/ someone- I seek to understand it. If I can't understand it, then I fear it- like crackwhores and ketchup.

As for the emotional fears, I don't fear them anymore. I've been through a lot so there's not much anyone could try and put me through that I can't find something to learn and grow from the experience.

Physical: Spiders

Snakes don't bother me, I know which ones to avoid. Sharks...try not to swim near them.

Emotional: Abandonment

Lies aren't really a fear to me, I just really hate being lied to, but I can't be affraid of it or I would be sorely disappointed most of the time.

mouse, mice , rats terrify me. I do not mind bugs, spiders, worms
snakes etc but anything tiny or big and looks like a water rat or
mouse with a sharp tooth I won't touch or go near it. I still get
nightmares when I see the movie Willard or used to watch fear
factor and see people with rats crawling all over them. I would die
a million deaths if rats crawled all over me. It is the pits.

Bigfoot and aliens, no &hit, I am not joking. Since the days of Weekly Reader I've been so scared of these things.

The other is not being the man I need to be for myself or for others. I work so hard to control things I tend to lose sight of the real issues at hand.
