Maybe you should get something that you can keep in a cage or get another cat.

Snake! Seriously, if you like them and your mom can tolerate them, it'd be perfect. Keep it caged and away from the cat, and they're pretty low maintenance. Only have to feed them once a week, which means they only crap once a week ;-)

well if you get a chihuahua dog then if u get a baby one if it grows up around cats it gets along with them but there a little costly but it might work!
