Im guessing this is your first pregnancy. The first one takes longer to start showing. Frustrating, I know. You are ready to wear maternity clothes and announce your big news to the world. In just a very few short weeks, you will start showing. Hang in there!

Oh girly, I know you are excited about being pregnant, but take your time. The fetus is only the size of a "jumbo shrimp", see http://www.babycenter.com/mybabycenter/113.html
and depending on how great a shape you are in, you may not show for a while. If you were stick thin, then maybe, but like I said, don't push it.
I showed early and by the 3rd trimester, I was absolutely huge, uncomfortable and very miserable. My daughter was a big baby for me to carry thank you to Daddy. My family is use to giving birth to 5 - 6 lbs. babies and my daughter was 8 lbs. It can be uncomfortable to be that big or be big early.
Good luck and congratulations.

When I was in college, there was a girl that gained 10-15 pounds with her baby.(she thought it was the 15 pounds that most everyone gains when they go to college) She played sports, and did all the college stuff, and didn't know she was pregnant. She never showed... NEVER... not like any other person that I have ever seen that is pregnant. (she also had a "period" every month)
So, not everyone shows when they are pregnant. Enjoy the fact that you have a healthy baby, confirmed by ultrasound and such, and take care of the little one growing inside of you.
Good luck and congrats!

it depends on your size. I was a sz 22 when I got pregnant. I am now 37 1/2 weeks and only a sz 24. I have not gained much weight and the belly is not big but the baby is growing well.

As long as the baby is healthy don't worry about it. I didn't show til the 7th and 8th month with my kids. With my 2nd child, all my husbands friends thought I was lying about being pregnant cause at 6 months, I wasn't showing. It just depends on your body. Just remember the sooner you show and the bigger it gets, the more uncomfortable you will be late in the pregnancy.

Some women show at differnet points in their pregnancy. Tiny women show REALLLLLLY fast!!! If you are heavier, it will take time! Don't worry. I did not show until my 5th month and I wear lose clothes now and some people still don't know that I'm pegnant. I'm not that big...but I'm carrying my baby in a different way from others!! Don't worry...it's a comin soon!!! Congrats on your pregnancy!

Be happy girl! You will be showing soon enough. Most women don't show until 16 weeks at the earliest on a first pregnancy.
