what kind of tatoo should i get?

i am getting a tatoo for my birthday on my lower back but i dont know what to get. any ideas?

Why a "tramp stamp" it's sooo trendy. The best thing to do is give yourself at least a yr. to invest in the time to research this. (I have 7 tats' so I am not trying to talk you out of it) Go on the internet and do some searching for ideas check out peoples tattoos and their experience. Just cause the buddy down the street does them doesn't mean they are good. Make sure the place and tools are sterile. They wear gloves and sterile needles.

Oh and when you do get one they hate when you come in with this carbon copy thing saying yeah I want this that blah blah blah....just maybe if you don't mind making an appointment say 2 or 3 months away....give him an idea of what you want and if the person is really good they'll sketch something up and you say I like this but not that blah blah etc. They'll work with you so you have what you want that's original and they will be happy that it's their design and thought was actually put into it (get your tattooist input let them give you their ideas on the subject)

Only get something that you have really wanted for a long time. A tattoo is more than just a decoration, it's art that stays with you for (almost) ever. Don't go for some stupid, trendy tattoo that everyone is getting just because it's "cool". Get something you adore and identify with.

Also, search around for a good artist. Don't go with a guy that makes you pick something off the wall. Don't be afraid to bring in your own art or a friend's art and work with the artist to get what you want. What a great birthday present to yourself. :)

And getting it removed is expensive and hurts. Not to mention that you had to pay for the tattoo in the first place! Think it through, even if it takes a little time to find exactly what you want.

You should pick something that is of interest to you. For instance, I have a heart with a dart going through it. I love throwing darts and play in tournaments all the time. I know I'll always love darts, so I know I'll never get tired of the tattoo. Remember this thing is for life!! If your into the zodiac your sign might look good. If you're young, just try to think ahead to future years and make certain this is something you'll still like when you're older.

You really shouldn't get one. They can become infected and cause many problems. Also there is a chance in getting AIDS from the needles they use. Another thing, if God had wanted people to have tatoos He would put them on us at birth.

I would look up symbols on military sites and see what symbol that had when he was in the army and see if you like something there, or maybe he gave you a jacket or a picture that you can see a symbol in that you like. Maybe get his rank tattooed on with some good lettering of his initials or name inside or something. Or try thinking of combining an American flag with the army air symbol or something. But what ever you decide - don't rush into getting your tattoo. Before I got might I drew it on everyday for like a month to make sure I liked the placement - colors etc. Remember it wont ever go away :)

Tattoos are too personal to get on a whim, like you seem to be doing. You shouldn't ask people you don't know on the internet about something you're going to be stuck with forever.

If you don't know what to get, wait until you do. Tattoos should at least mean something to you.

If it really doesn't matter to you, just get an arrow pointing down.

The kind that washes off. Since it probably won't do any good, I'll not relate my feelings about tattoos, especially on women, but consider this; when you get older, and you really will, tattoos look like whatever was painted on a deflated balloon.

If you are sexy- Anything that has color and draws attention to you

Be original, don't get anything. Guys look at chicks like that as "easy", trust me.
