Because religions get people's back up. Every religion brain washes the people to hate, religion is the problem world wide, take it away and people will be prone to except each other as they are.

I'm stone cold sobber and ask myself the same question! Because most people are too opiniated? Stubborn? I think it has to be that!
Moaning when you're drunk? Poor you! it's supposed to make you happy! Feel milder! Whatever you were on! Didn't agree with you! Try drink something else next time!

First off I would like to say this is an interesting question because you ask why we can't get along, yet your avatar appears quite angry.
But anyways. We can't get along, because we are not all the same. We have different personalites, different views, and everybody wants to be right. But this can't be possible if everybody is different in their perspectives and other things.

Because if we all got along, we wouldn't be humans would we? It's the nature of the beast, to disagree, criticize, and fight for what we believe in. The problem is that everybody is doing just that, which causes conflicts.
