I'm fifteen and I really like Dan Brown, Michael Crichton, Jeffery Deaver, Dean Koontz, stuff like that. I also really like science fiction. Any suggestions?

If I knew what book to look for I would go to the library/bookstore morons. I just wanted reading suggestions, as a lot of people managed to figure out, but you didn't.

Try Piers Anthony's "On a Pale Horse." It's about a regular guy who accidentally kills Death and becomes Death himself.

If you like Star Wars, read the Timothy Zahn books. They're much better stories even than what Lucas wrote.

Have you read any of the Manga books? I have not but I have seen many teenagers come into my second Job (at a bookstore) and purchase those. Some Good Science Fiction writers are Kurt Vonnegut and Robert Heinlein. Patricia Cromwell is also an excellent writer, if you like murder mysteries. A book that you may like to read, although it is not Science Fiction, is called "Ghost Riders" by Sharyn McCrum. It is Historical Fiction that bounces back and fourth between current and the Civil War era, with some times both eras happening at once.

I hardly read, but the books I have read are great.

The Giver (really easy to read and a really good story)

Mary Shelly's Frankenstien (Hard to read cause it's in like...old english or something, written in the 1800's)

And for sci-fi, 2001:A Space Oddyssey by Arthur C. Clarke. Really amazing novel. A classic and it deserves a read by everyone. Even for those who don't like science fiction.

It's not like StarTrek where people say intelligent sounding things that don't really mean anything "We just need to reverse the electro-magnetic thingy on the blah blah ray"......nothing like that. Really good book and I urge you to read it.

Stanley Kubrick (director of Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket) made it into a movie, but it has nothing on the book. Don't watch the movie until you've read the book.

You should read some Lois Lowry. She wrote "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and it is a thousand times better than the movie. She also writes some really good thrillers about the paranormal. It's not nearly as appealing to the intelligent as Dan Brown, but they are good for cheap thrills.

A really good sci fi author is Raymond E. Feist. Dragons and knights and stuff. Very fun and easy to read. I read the Riftwar series, but then moved on the other genres. I think the first book in the series is The Magician's Apprentice.

The most influential books I read at your age were by Robert Heinlen and Isaac Asimov. From Heinlen: STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND and JOB: A COMEDY OF JUSTICE. For Asimov, check out any of the Robot novels, starting with CAVES OF STEEL. All of these changed how I looked at the world at age 15.

You might also enjoy FIRE UPON THE DEEP by Vernor Vinge, THE FOREVER WAR by Joe Haldeman or ENDER'S GAME by Orson Scott Card.

Here is a little unknown author that is wonderful, Owl Goingback. He is an American Indian, but writes mysteries along the lines of Dean Koontz.

I love Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow by Orson Scott Card. (They are parallel novels). You can read either one first...and the other will just serve to complement the other. They are science fiction set in the future featuring boys that leave Earth to go to Battle School ...around the age of 6.....to learn how to be soldiers in order to one day save the world from aliens who have attacked Earth twice in previous decades. Very good read, great plot, great characters.

I just finished reading Lance Armstrong's War; by Daniel Coyle. It's a good book, especially for July when the Tour de France is going on.
