Hey, does anyone know when the 7th Harry Potter Book is coming out?

Rowling hasn't finished yet and they have not decided on a release date. Wikipedia is not accurate. It is just entries people like us post. We don't know when, because Rowling hasn't finished it.

It has been rumored that book seven will be released on July 7, 2007 (07.07.07), because seven is a powerfully magical number in the series. I think that would be incredible if it were, but it is unlikely because of the release date of the fifth Harry Potter movie. It is set for July 13, 2007. I don't see the book and the movie being released so close together. There would be a fight for publicity.
Bloomsbury co-founder Liz Calder (who publishes the British versions of the Potter books), recently said in an interview, "The next Harry Potter book is likely to come out in 2007. I hope so."
I also think it's safe to say that the book will release sometime in the summer. I think that Scholastic and Bloomsbury will make sure that kids will have enough time to devour the book. If it was during the school year, there might be some problems.

The release date is currently unknown as is the title. But many are speculating that it will come out 7/7/07. Others are guessing that because that will coincide with the release of the fifth Harry Potter movie, it will come out the following summer. (JK is keen on getting it out in the summertime so kids have more time to read)

I cannot remember how many times I end up answering this question, but what the heck. It's scheduled to come out July 7, 2007 (7-7-07).

I am a big Harry Potter fan and can't wait for the next book. My guess is that they might release it when the next movie is released. But I could be wrong.

it's predicted to be 07/07/07, because that's just a really cool day. It's also my 17th birthday, so I am VERY excited. I might have like a '7' party.

The rumor mill says 07.07.07. But I don't think it's finished being written yet, and it would still need to go to the editor and all that rot, so it may be further away than that. But really...I think the they should release it then. The date alone is built in publicity!
