Everything that has mass also has gravity. Every person on this Earth collectively add some mass to the Earth and so to its gravity.

Usually there is a misconception that there exists something inside the mass structures of atoms in the earth that pulls you down. There has been no proof that gravity is a pull from inside the earth.Hence it does not come from inside the earth or its solid core.
In reality its an external phenomena of space.fields.Gravity, is what hold your body in the shape its in. All parts of you body are held togehter by gravity.That includes all your curves.Just as gravity cause space fields to curve so it is with mass structures also.

So it is a matter of preference whether you believe its a pull or a space field pressure that holds you down with other mass structures.

Hence gravity becomes a sort of belief or faith that scientist have saying its an attraction between masses.
The other side of the camp of beliefs is that gravity is a push thus keeping the earth into a spherical shape.

A more complete explanation of gravity requires a very lenghty and tedious paper. Hence take it for what its worth.

Everything that has mass has gravity from the snot in your nose to the molecules that make you farts smell to the sand on the beach and especially the core of the earth which is far from solid.

here's something to think about: Me standing in NYC US exert a gravitational pull on someone in china equal to

F=G*(My mass)*(His mass) / (distance)^2 = 5.90263171 × 10-21 Newtons

but that's assuming both I and the other man weigh 60kg

What we call gravity is actually a curvature of space caused by the presence of mass. You can get a rough idea of this by imagining a flat sheet of rubber. Place a bowling ball (mass) on the rubber (space) and it will be distorted. If you now place something like a small marble on the distorted rubber it will roll towards the center of the distortion. The more mass, like your own, added to the bowling ball will increase the amount of distortion (gravity) in the rubber sheet (space).

It comes from the mass of the objects involved. Mass is roughly like weight here on Earth. Big things have lots of gravity, little things very little.

Looks like braxton has the best answer from my pov, I just wanted to point out that is we could manipulate gravity we could obtain FTL travel. And I don't think that enough research is being put into the manipulation of time and space. Take Q's advice from the last episode of Star Trek TNG. There's more to explore then just the next star system.

Yes, the earth's gravity comes from its mass, and its size.

it's probably connected axial rotation creating an electomagnetic force pushing force and pulling force actually trying to push us away and magnetic force pullling us towards the earth and it is our own weight keeping us going the other direction or downward electromagnetic forces keep it spinning to create this effect planes need lift because of electromagnetic force caused by the axial rotation . hot center of earth caused by it's own and rotational force or the force created by rotation creates resistance for motional objects to work against gravity extends to the reaches of the ozone and beyond
