But with identity theft it isn't a matter of if it will happen to you, it is more of a matter of when. It is the fastest growing crime in the US. A year ago I didn't know anyone who had been the victim of ID Theft, today I know 4.

I think it is important to protect yourself no matter how careful you are.

I suggest this service for protection. You get a credit report to see if it has happened.

You get credit monitoring to let you know if it happens. This way you know right away if it happens so you can minimize your loss.

But the best part is if it happens to you you are assigned a licensed investigator to handle every aspect of the Restoration!

The FTC says it can take 600 hours and thousands of dollars to correct the problems.

It is horrible to fix.

The guiding principle you might consider is to limit the amount of personally identifying information you provide on-line - especially to any input forms resulting from unsolicited emails promising you either "free" or "your account has been compromised...." invitation messages.

Additionally, utilizing a multi-layered approach with anti virus and firewall tools is helpful along with just using common sense can lead to still enjoying the internet while practicing safe identity management.

Here's a helpful tip, specifically to helping you in avoiding some of the common traps with releasing personal information with online dating sites:

I would like to inform you that, there are numbers of thousands Adware/Spyware/Trojans that are infecting innocent Internet users such as yourself through downloadable games, music, screensavers, pictures, pop-ups, and the list goes on and on. Spyware and Adware can cause your PC to run extremely slow and even crash, and allow hackers and advertising companies to invade your privacy whenever they wish.

You should try the necessary step to keep away from hackers.

1) Don't go any site who provide lots of free stuff, If you are going to download any free thing then tehy may provide you some third pary componets such as, spyware, adware , virus and so on,

2) Don't give your pc to use any of unknow person.
