I think that it is great that a child this age is thinking of anything other than the opposite sex and themself. I would allow my child as long as it did not interfere with 2 things: school & being a kid. I would also want to know & approve who my kid is working for.

A 13 year old should be in school in order to have a bright future. As a general rule, employing minors is prohibited under the law. Nevertheless, for walking dogs for $2.00 is just a petty work and it is just okey.

My mom would say that your job is school, and that working shouldn't be a priority unless it's an emergency. As for summer jobs - well, I'd agree with you for now; it seems 13's a little young to be forced into work. Maybe in a couple of years....
Two bucks is pretty low - but it sounds like a fun job!

as long as they r sure they can handel the dog. If u got a like huge great dain and the 13 year old is a guy whose never lifted a dumbell b4 i would say no.

its always good to walk a dog.
but if you take it up as a job , then its against the law since you are underage/minor.
