No. At least no more than soaps. ha ha. I like reality tv because I can do other things at the same time and not really miss an important plot moment that would be on scripted tv.

It's not *that* real. How many people get 'stuck' in a house for a summer with strangers, evicting one another one by one? Most of the programmes aren't reality. Take "American Idol" - I'm sure a lot more goes into getting a record contract than singing songs and being voted for week after week. I doubt many of these singers who work hard, who don't audition in front of television, go through performing different songs week after week to get their record contract.
It probably rots brains if people think it *is* real.
