The bit which is reversed is merely the previous line, only in reverse "I put my game down, flip it and reverse it".

Which one? "Work It"? It's actually the lines of the song preceding it "is it worth it/let me work it/".... "flip it and reverse it".

At least that's what she said on Ryan Seacrest's talk show a couple of years ago.

I just listened to that part and played it backwards :)

She says

"thang down flip it and reverse it"
