You can do this by setting it a distance away from other electronic computer equipment. You could also elevate the wireless adapter setting it higher like on a shelf above your PC, this is what I did. You can also adjust the wireless antennas on the unit, if you have a 2 antenna, they should be at a 45 degree angle out to either side.

you could yet you should ruin your on the spot adapter with the help of replacing the txpower on your adapter. i do not recommend this. maximum acceptable element is to hit upon a thanks to diminish gadgets and distance between your pc and router.
