I love it, it is alot better than how we are fighting them. Israel does not care what the world community thinks they know that most people hate them, thats how we need to be. To the terroist Israel and America are public enemey #1 and they will stop at nothing to kill us or convert us. And guess what our country does to terroist who behead people and kill babies and innonect people including other muslims our country grants them the same protection that basically any U.S citizen has, great way to fight againt people with no souls.

Israel has reacted to the kidnapping of its soldiers not by trying to maintain negotion, and, failing that, subterfuge and small scale infiltration to get their men back, but instead by invading the Gaza strip and destroying essential civilian infrastructure. They arrested members of the democratically elected government, and destroyed their offices. They also went out of their way to punish the civilian population, for example having jet fighters fly overhead, creating sonic booms, during the night to make sure that no one could sleep. They're essentially punishing the entire population of the actions of a few, something which is expressly forbidden in the Geneva convention. What they're doing in Lebanon is quite similar, only they're even more aggressive, blockading the entire country by air and sea, attacking the international airport, and firing rockets at towns which allegadly contain terrorist camps. So far 55 civilians, 15 of whom were children, have been killed. Are they TRYING to drag the whole Middle Eastern region into war?! Personally I think they're mad, and at least some should be tried for war crimes.

At the same time, I find the kidnappings and the rocket attacks on Israel vile and sickening, and I pray that the soldiers are brought back alive. However, if takes 55 more Palestinian or Lebonese lives, I hope that they're not. A life is a life, be it Israeli or Palestinian.

Firstly, 911 has nothing to do with this conflict so dont tarnish its memory by using it to justify collective punishment.

Secondly, this situation is far more then 'Terrorists' and 'The Good Guys'. Yes, what Hamas did was wrong but lets look at the situation. The Palestinians live in an open-air prison, rights in the Strip are scarce and Israel is anythign but a benign neighbour. Its hostility towards Palestinian sovereignty is well-deocumented.
In this climate of anger at Israels foot-dragging, i dont know why so many people are angry and shocked by what happened. Of course Hamas would snap and do something stupid, i totally condemn what they have done. However, Israels response has been horrendous.

Cosider this. Hamas has been fighting with itself to dis-arm its more extreme militant factions. One of these groups did something utterly stupid and the entire Palestinian collective, many of them just wanting some standard iof life, are being punished. Over 1 million people now suffer from Israels retaliations for something a minority faction did.

Would you have support us in Britain if we carpet-bombed Dublin after the IRA atrocities? No, we would have been condemned. The fact that the IRA was American finded will be discussed another day...

I absolutely love how you put "dont forget 9/11" in there. Like this has anything to do with 9/11. I dont think it as cut and dry as you are making it, the problems going on there go very deep. I suggest that you do some of your own research. Something funny is that after world war two the jews in isreal would capture and hold hostage british soldiers and sometimes kill them to prove their point. But anyways, just read into it some more and you might be surprised.

not me because they aren't only kicking terrorists behinds they are killing Muslim people that have families and normal lives and have nothing to do with being terrorists...there is no reason for Israel to kill all of the Innocent people

and not everybody in the middle east was involved with 9/11 those people were like 19 or something out of millions of people the rest of the people in the middle east are trying to get on with there lives. NOT EVERYBODY IS TERRORISTS YOU KNOW.

have you heard of the bombing in Beirut...i have family members there.. I was going to go to Lebanon this summer but now i cant because they bombed the airport...they can even start bombing other people who aren't even terrorists...i could have been killed.

I wish the US would stop supporting Israel. 9/11 pretty much happened because we support Israel. Israel and the arab countries fight over some dry crappy piece of land because they think it has some kind of religious significance. It is just a piece of land! Either the Jews or the Palestines should just give up and move somewhere else. They are killing each other over some stupid piece of land that they think some imaginary god wants them to have. It is just so stupid. The US should just mind its own business and let those countries bomb each other to smitherines over that stupid piece of land.

This is great, and it will should only cost one to three dollars extra per gallon at the gas pump. I often wonder who benefits from this increase in gas price. Is it the oil companies or the Arabs?
