I really wouldn't want to be anyone else, but if I had to choose, and of course a choice of that kind could only be of someone who has left their mark in the world, it would have to be Mother Theresa.
Fortunately for the world, it wasn't me, as I am sure I would never have had her strength, fortitude, courage and unwavering faith.
She is way up there with your great choice, Martin Luther King.
It seems so ironic to me that its the evil - events and people - that gets all the accolades and applause in these troubled times.

I wouldn't want to be anyone else other than myself. I may never do anything great, but I'll do my best in my little corner of the world.
However, given your question, I would say: I'd like to be Albert Einstein because he's my intellectual friend and I would have liked to have struggled with the same problems that he struggled, specifically the attempt to reconcile relativity and quantum mechanics into one grand theory of everything.
