Normally a male president...because of security issues. However, a female president would be good as long as she didn't get soft on our enemies and let our country lag down to become a failure.

I am a male, but I would in a minute vote for a woman president.Not just because a monkey withA.D.D. could beat what we have now but because women are every bit as smart as any male.I have no preference as long as they don't lead us into and illegal war,try to take away our freedoms,feed the rich and starve the poor and middle class.Get the rest of the world hating us,turn their back on ecology and what God gave us under the false name of being a Christian.Use the Constitution as if it were their own personal plaything.To sign a bill at the same time you're signing another admonishing the first.And that's just a brief synopsis.I would vote for any woman with a heart and brains.I love this country and want to see someone bring it up from the depths of the brine it's in.

No preference, male or female makes little difference to me. Though it would do my heart good to see a female US President lead a war into the Middle East.
Would I vote for Hilliary because she is a woman, nope not a chance, she would make a lousy President. One of my favorites leaders of all time was Margaret Thatcher she would have been an outstanding President.
It will happen and it will happen within my lifetime.

Male president considering that the position is critical to be occupied only by a strong willed person. Females are usually affected by emotions and have the tendency to give in to everybody's request.

I say male only because I think a majority would respect a male figure head rather than a female.... I think females still have alot to learn in the political world as far as leadership skills go. But give it time and I think females will rule the world.... Just not in my life time :)
