that i looked bad after i was talking to him about being fat, gaining like 10 pounds, etc. it slipped out, and he said he didn't mean it and that he was sorry and all that, but i can't get it off my mind. that just proved what he really thinks. how do i get over it? i feel depressed.

Even though he said that, it's not a big deal. He doesn't care that you look bad, otherwise he wouldn't be with you, right? This is actually kind of good because it means that he isn't shallow. If you want to really rock his world though, you could lose weight if you have extra to lose.

Why not use this hurt as your catapult to a better you ? Have you gained a little too much ? Wont it be in your best interest to look the best that you can ? Then you will have enough confidence for when people say things like this to you and it doesn't affect you. You must believe he is right to get depressed over it. Let that motivate you rather than depress you. Good luck.

Well it depends. If you are skinny and said you need to lose weight, guys hate that. But if he said you were fat, thats a different story.

I don't know how u can but u can try talkin to him but 3 years ago a boy told me that he loved me and then he broke up wid me
