Loose powder is preferable directly after applying foundation. It is ground finer than pressed and is made to "melt" into the makeup to help your foundation have longer wear with less shine.
Pressed powder it great to touch up with later in the day. Or you can buy a pressed powder that has the coverage of a foundation. It shows cakey for the first few minutes and settles into a nice natural coverage.
Hope this helps.....Good Luck!

Before I answer your question...you should put the foundation on before concealer. It works better.
Anyways, I prefer using loose...its more effective.
Hope I helped:)

i've never tried it but i think loose is better. i don't think it matters if you put the pressed powder on with a brush though.

if you use any of those products, girlie, i would say, IXNAY them all and invest in a bottle of Mac liquid foundation - it is THE best, covers up anything you want without looking caked on. blend with a little bit of moisturizer and no one will be any the wiser!
