I mean, what is wrong with a little junk in the trunk?

While models are encouraged to look like that, I believe that skinny girls in the regular population in the US are actually considered fair game for insults, and will be defended far less often than large girls.
Which is just as bad, since skinny girls often have as little to do with their body shape as with their eye color.
So what's wrong with our society when it is BAD for a girl to be so thin that you can see her bones?
(And I bet most of the answers here will prove my point, which is why I'm going to do a few chores before I post this.)

actually men prefer women with curves. its not good to be super thin but the media doesnt help with all the super skinny super models. nothing is wrong with a little junk in the trunk.

This questions is why we are one of the fattest countries in the world. Nothing wrong with a little junk is not good, but be super skinny is not either. Most guys like skinny girls period.

it has become an obsession, now even top models weight less than 20 years ago. movies and mass media have participated in this image distortion. it's so unhealthy.
how come people and specially males forget that women need fat so they can produce hormones and become mothers. we all need some fat.
we also have to remember that every one is different some girls may be thin, because most of her family is liKe that, even when she's eating right, so her body is liKe that and she will be healthy with her weight. in change we have girls that want to weight unhealthy. we always encourage girls to find out the weight which is healthy for them since our professional view and also a weight they are comfortable with.
obviously as I said we as WOMEN must have more fat than men, and society must realize this.

I am not a pencil thin Chicky...... I have some junk in my trunk....... LOL!!!! I don't think its good to be too skinny but I could also stand to lose at least 5 pounds...... LOL!!!!! exactly,a little juk in the trunk is a whole lot better than not eating for a week.Seriously,being too skinny isn't pretty,it's just plain gross and disgusting,kind of like being a human skeleton.

Nothing wrong with that. Actually many find more curves than edges more attractive and beautiful. The important thing is to be happy with yourself and don't pay too much attention to what you see in the media.
