I just asked my eye doctor the other week.

Smoking severely dries your eyes out. Since they are dry and irritated, the vessels swell up and can be seen. Drops that remove the redness only shrink those vessels. The best thing to do is constantly wet them so they are not irritated.

Marijuana constricts the blood vessels and therefore makes the veins in the eyes carry smaller amounts of blood from the heart.
Your eyes are red cause, there is justa tiny amount of blood getting to them.

Because it constricts the blood vessels, similiar to regular smoking. This constricts in the brain vessels including those around your eyes.
