Probably not this summer, but by next summer they could very well be at $4.

We're already paying $5.90 a US gallon and all because of the US invasion of Iraq and its sabre rattling over Iran and North Korea, destabilising the World.
Meanwhile you have some of the cheapest fuel prices on Earth, if not the cheapest. So stop whinging.

Not if we quit buying so much of it at today's high prices. People just can't believe the power they have in their hands in this free market economy. The laws of supply and demand put all the power in the consumer's hands, and people just don't seem to see that, or can't believe that they are so much more powerful than the "big" oil companies, or they're too irresponsible to do what it takes to drop them to their knees. I wish they would realize their power over OPEC, and the "big" oil companies. We all sure could enjoy gasoline prices back in the 50 cent to 75 cent price range for Premium gas. It's do-able, if you REALLY want to do it. God Bless you.

They'll definitely get it up over $4 during the Summer, then in the Fall the Republican Congress will legislate a mandatory price reduction "for the little guy" and millions of midless, easily manipulated idiot voters will swallow that crap and sweep the bastards back into power again.

in accordance to Obummer all we ought to do is go out the following day and purchase a sparkling Prius! What no interest? No difficulty, get a motorbike rather or take publich transportation. do not stay in a city with public transportation, then hitchhike or walk. He also promised that our utilities will go a lot higher. nicely, we are able to not say he did not shop any of his resources, now can we? Ain't he purely the the bomb? *sigh* truthfully, who ought to vote this numbnuts for a second time period? go figure.

With the price of crude oil hitting an all time high of $78.00. It probably will, but if you look historically during the early 80's oil crisis. We are still paying at a descent price with inflation.

According to the news I listened to this morning, they are predicting so, and so far they have hit it on the nose, and with the war getting worse in the middle east that is another indication that it most likely will, keep your eyes on the pumps, I know I sure am!
