Is she crazy? And how does that go with the song?

It's her answer to all the hoopla that surrounded her "Bush bashing" comments...she is kind of crazy but Natalie Maynes says she is making "no apologies."

I think the video is stupid. And I agree, I don't think it goes with the song. It's weird though, Vh1 showing the video, instead of CMT or GAC since it's a country song-not a pop song. But I guess it's because they don't want the video on the country stations-just like radio because of what they said about President Bush. Even if some fans like Bush, I don't think they should necessarily break their cd's or stop listening to their music just because of what they said. I think that's kind of stupid. And I think they should only play the video and song on country stations(if viewers don't call in and complain). I heard that they might play the song on the rock station I listen to. But so far, I haven't heard it, so I don't know if they did play it. But if they did play the song, I would definetly call the station and tell them not to play the song again because it's a country song not a rock song. And so the song shouldn't be played on the station. But if it was a country station, I would have no problem, I would just turn the station. I don't dislike the Dixie Chicks, I just prefer their older music-and not their new music out right now.

I saw on CMT or GAC that the video was abstract and supposed to be representing the salem witch trials. I'm not quite sure how this plays into the song but I'd guess that they are trying to say that she is being put on trial for what she said about president bush just like the people in the salem witch trials were. Also the people in the trials were considered the outcasts so that might be a part of it because the chicks were casted out of country music after what they said. I hope this helps.

I believe she's talking about bad mouthing the prez the black represents Evil/Sin and the white is innocence...I think what she's trying to say is: She knows what she did is wrong but she's not going to take it back.
