I watched David Walliams on Tv tonight swimming the channel for charity..What an amazing man! I knew he was talented but right now I'm in awe of this guy. Your comments?

Great, great man! Very determined and acheived his goal and helped countless children and charities in the process by raising £500,000 for Sport Relief. and all at great personal risk to himself (at times he was swimming around raw sewage!)
Bono take note!
He should get an OBE (at least!).

I totally agree with you!
I know there are a lot of celebrities out there who use their fame to 'raise awareness' of charities, but how many other celebrities would put themselves forward to do something like that?
I was on the verge of tears when he said that if he felt like giving up, he thought about the young girls in the orphanage that he visited that were raped or sexually abused, and he kept going because he didn't want to let them down.
He is an inspiration.
