Led Zeppelin's one of the best rock & roll bands ever, and they've had a profound influence on my life, starting with "Stairway to Heaven" (the album with "Black Dog" is by far their best, though).
When I first decided to move from Baltimore to San Francisco on the eve of the new millenium (I arrived @ SFO around 10:30pm on 12/31/99), I kept playing "Goin' to California" over & over again.
Also, I've got a cool Led Zep poster right above my desk with these lines from "Stairway to Heaven:"
"And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to know
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll..."

Maybe the easier question would be "Who doesn't?"
The band was fantastic. I'm lucky enough to live in an area where a radio station does a segment every morning called "Get the Led Out." It's on just as I'm commuting to work. What a pleasure to hear the old songs and get interesting stories about the band's glory days.
If I had to pick a favorite Zep song , I don't know if I could. There are just too many. I do love Four Sticks, though. And Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You. And Tangerine. And Rock & Roll. etc....

I do, but I wish the material on Led Zeppelin IV wasn't so commercialized, Its a good album besides the millions of amateur guitarists playing the intro to "stairway". My favorite album is Led Zeppelin II. Lots of good bluesy stuff. But my favorite song by them is "When the Levee Breaks". its just awesome.

Who here doesn't? Come on, one of the best bands to ever walk the earth. Half the bands today are just pale imitations of Led Zeppelin.

Led Zeppelin was a great band because they were unique. There is no other band like Zep. My favorite song. "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You". "You Shook Me" is a good one. Of course, most people know "Stairway to Heaven", but I'm worn out on it.There's also "Black Dog","Misty Mountain Hop",and "Gallows Pole". I like so much of their stuff.. It would be hard to even pick a fav album for me. :D
